House Rent Agreement

Mrs/Mr. ………….., permanent resident of …………Rural Municipality, Ward No. 5, Okhaldhunga, Nepal, (hereafter called the "House Owner") is willing to provide to house on rent located at, ………… Rural Municipality, Ward No. 5, Okhaldhunga, Nepal, owned by her (Plot No. 974) on rent to Mr/Mrs. ………………, resident of ……….. Rural Municipality, Ward No. 5, Okhaldhunga, Nepal (hereafter called "Tenant") who is willing to take the House on rent for the living purpose of on the following terms and conditions:

 

The House shall be used by the Tenant for the purpose of living.

 

1. The rental charge of the above mentioned house rent should be NRs.340, 000(In Words: NRs. Three Lakh Forty Thousand) per annum.

2. The contract is valid for five years from the date of signing this contract i.e. March 12, 2022 However, the contract can be extended for future period upon the prior information and mutual understanding. Likewise, the contract can be terminated from either party giving 35 days prior notice and or by the government decision or count order.

3. The rent shall be paid annually by the Tenant and payment will be made in advance for each year before starting the year i.e. 12 March each year.

4. The Tenant shall be responsible for any damage in the structure of the house and the Tenant shall be responsible to pay government tax and fees any of the house during the term of this agreement.

5. The House Owner has right to discontinue with Tenant during the term of agreement if the Tenant is found not paying the rent on agreed time or not abiding the terms and conditions of this agreement.

This contract is signed in the good faith today, March 12,2022 on behalf of both parties.
